Dell Inspiron 14R Intel Core i3 Laptop, $500 Dell's Inspiron 14R, a basic all-purpose laptop, did well in PCWorld tests, earning a 3.5-star review. According to our reviewer, "It's the right 'does everything well enough' laptop at the right sub-$800 price." Dell usually sells the Intel Core i3 configuration of its Inspiron 14R for $550. Get the deal. T-Mobile G2X Android Phone, $99 With Free Activation The G2X looks like a basic smartphone, with its black, dark gray and silver color scheme. "But don't let its generic appearance fool you," says our reviewer, "this phone has an incredibly high-quality feel." When we reviewed the T-Mobile G2X about a month ago, we gave it 4.5 stars (out of 5) for its 8-megapixel camera and superfast processing. At that time the smartphone sold for $200.
